Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts IAS Exam to recruit the eligible candidate for this post Yes, CA Students are eligible for IAS Exam if they fulfills following conditions Eligibility-- Nationality You should be a citizen of India. Educational Qualification - You must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university. Age Limit -You must be atleast 21 years of age and less than 31 years of age -The upper age limit is relaxed upto a maximum of : SC / ST 5 OBC 3 Defense Services personnel 3 Domiciled in J&K during the period 01/01/1980 - 31/12/1989 5 IAS Exam Pattern Preliminary Examination -- Paper I : General Studies (GS) - 200 marks - 2 hours Subject Area Current events of national & international importance History of India and Indian National Movement Indian and World Geography - Phsical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the world Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Right Issues, etc. Economic and Social Development - Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc. General issues on Environmentel Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialisation General Science Negative Marking: 1/3rd of marks allotted for every question Paper II : Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT) - 200 marks - 2 hours Subject Area Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability Decision-making & Problem-solving General Mental Ability Basic Numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (CLass X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency, etc. - Class X Level) English Language Comprehension Skills (Class X Level) Mains Exam— Paper - I Language -300 Marks Paper – II English -300 Marks Paper – III Essay - 200 Marks Paper-IV General Studies-I 300 Marks (Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society) Paper-V General Studies -II: 300 Marks (Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International relations) Paper-VI General Studies -III 300 Marks (Technology, Economic Development, Bio-diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management) Paper-VII General Studies -IV 300 Marks (Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude) Marks carried by General Studies was 4X 250=1000 Paper-VIII Optional Subject - Paper 1 -300 Marks Paper-IX Optional Subject - Paper II -300 Marks Interview/Personality Test - 300 marks |

Hey as per my idea yes you are eligible for IAS exam Educational Qualification Candidate should be graduate from recognized university Final year candidate are also eligible for this exam. there is no limit of percentage marks. Age Limit age should be 21 to 30 years age relaxation for OBC candidate 3 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate 5 years Number of attempt General candidate 4 times OBC candidate 7 times SC/ST candidate no limit Exam Pattern The preliminary examination will consist of two objective type (multiple choice questions) paper. Paper I- General Studies (2 hours) Paper II- Aptitude Test (2 hours) The question papers (test booklets) will be available in both languages, English and Hindi. For both writing and marking answers in the OMR sheet (Answer sheet), candidates will have to use black ball pen only. Usage of pens with any other colour would be prohibited. Use of pencil or ink pen would not be allowed. Blind candidates would be allowed an extra 20 minutes of time for each paper. |
