CA along with MBA

Can you tell me if I can pursue MBA (Master in Business Administration) course along with CA or Chartered Accountant in India as I want to do so but not sure if I can really go for it or not?

Yes, both CA and MBA can be done simultaneously. There is no harm in doing both together as CA will take at least 5 years but MBA will be completed in 2 years and that too after graduation.

Chartered Accountant is one of the professional courses which are organized by the ICAI.

If one has completed the class 10th then can register for CPT, but the exam of which can be given only after appearing/completing the 12th examination.

Once the article - ship in C.A Starts, you can pursue only one course with the C.A.

If thinking of pursuing MBA, then make sure that the timing of college must not clash with the article -ship timing.

And because of that many students prefer to pursue company secretary (CS) course along with the C.A

But one is required more determination and hard work and need to manage at times when exams for both CA and MBA collapse.

If one can manage, go for it.
