C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur, conducts an Eligibility Test for University/Colleges. The University Grants Commission, New Delhi has nominated C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur as an agency of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh to organize U.P. SLET exactly on the pattern of the U.G.C. NET

In general, candidates like to obtain lectureship can try to take up Uttar Pradesh SLET examination so that they are appointed as lecturer or assistant professor of all private and government aided colleges and universities of state Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria of Uttar Pradesh SLET:
 Master degree candidates are allowed to take up the test.

 General category candidates should score 55% of marks become eligible to write the Uttar Pradesh SLET examination

 Only 5% of marks relaxation is given for the special category candidates and reserved category candidates of SC/ST/PH get the relaxation to take up the test

 Candidates of Ph. D degree can even apply for the exam and get 5% of marks relaxation in their PG degree.

 Master degree qualification is must to them, even though they secure good score in their PG degree examination.

 If one has not studied the subjects of SLET in PG degree, there is not option you have to take up any UGC NET or UGC CSIR NET exam to get lectureship.

 After the strict verifications one is allowed for further proceedings and they have to bring their documents and other certifications for verification.
