Directorate of Distance Education in agreement with the suggestion of the Distance Education Council (DEC), was established in 1994. It was the 1st of its kind in West Bengal. It evolved and urbanized since its inception and now it has a good infrastructure of its own. Positioned in the Golapbag Campus, the DDE has a beautiful building of its own. It houses all the organizational departments of the directorate and holds counselling sessions for different courses it runs.

Qualification

B.Sc, / B.Com. / B.A. Pass Graduates who subsequently passed Special B.A. (of
not less than 300 marks in the relevant subject) securing at least 40% marks in it,

OR

You Should have pass graduate in the 10+2+2 / 10+1+3 / 11+3 pattern from any recognized institute and pass graduate of 10+2+3 pattern securing at least 40% marks in i,

OR

A minimum 2nd class Hons. (Regular or Special) graduate in the relevant subject
having pursued the course in the 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized University

OR

A pass graduate in the 10+2+3 pattern having offered the relevant subject as a
