Yes definitely after completing Diploma in computer science you can take admission in B.Tech through lateral entry admission procedure.

B.TECH. Lateral Entry Admission details:
• Entry Qualification: The aspirants seeking admission to B. Tech. admission lateral entry Programmes, must have passed a State Diploma Examination of three years duration in any branch or any other examination, recognized equivalent there to by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters / three years) of 60% (50% for SC/ST and 55% for OBC applicants ).
• Duration: The duration of Degree programme is 3 years as the students will be admitted directly in second year of the regular B.Tech. Program.

B.TECH. Lateral Entry Admission details:

For getting admission in BTECH course through Lateral entry scheme at LPU candidate have to clear LPUNEST-.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam):

Candidate should pass Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3years after 10th) or B.Sc (Non- medica)/ B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent with 70% aggregate marks .

OR
Candidate should pass Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3years after 10th) or B.Sc (Non- medical)/ B.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent subject with 60% aggregate marks .


Admission Criteria:
Merit in qualifying examination subject to eligibility criteria.
