Amity Institute of Physiotherapy (AIPT) is an integral part of Amity Group, under the patronage of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) & Ritnand Balved Medical Foundation (RBMF).

Amity Institute of Physiotherapy is recognized by The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) vide their letter number UG/IAP/261/2010 dated Feb 14, 2010.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy course provides systematic Physiotherapy education in theory as well as practical with an emphasis on clear concepts and basics. This helps the students in critical analysis, decision-making leading to detailed therapeutic treatment.

Admission Criteria:

Age:
Minimum Age for admission - 17 years
Maximum Age for admission - Below 21 years as on August 1st (as per GGSIP University)

Educational Requirements:
Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided one has passed in each subject separately. One also must have passed in English as a subject of study (core of elective) in the qualifying exam.

Selection Criteria:
Selection for admission for the seats will be done on merit through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the GGSIP University, Delhi.

Subject for Entrance Test Physics (25%) Chemistry (25%) and Biology (Botany and Zoology) (50%) as per CBSE syllabus for class XI & XII Examinations

1st Year Non Sponsored Semester Fee (Rs. in Lacs) : 0.55
1st Year Sponsored Semester Fee (Rs. in Lacs) : 0.825

Physical Fitness:
One must be in good mental and physical health and should be free from any physical defect which is likely to interfere with studies including duties required of a professional. One should submit the Medical Certificate in the prescribed Performa at the time of admission/ counselling.

Duration:
4 years and 6 months of internship.
