About the college:
BMS College of Engineering is an autonomous engineering college in Basavangudi, Bangalore, India. It also has Evening college (BMSECE), a non autonomous college, which comes under VTU. The engineering college, started in 1946 by B. M. Sreenivasiah, was the first private sector initiative in technical education in India and is run by the BMS Educational Trust today.
