Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) Online Test is for the under graduate engineering courses at the various campuses of BITS. One is tested on the knowledge of Class XI and XII Syllabus as per NCERT and it is a computer based one with multiple questions. One will also be tested in the English proficiency. Yes, Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is among the Toughest Level of Entrance Exam in India for admission in B Tech with many others like: IITJEE, VITEEE, etc. BITSAT Paper Pattern: BITSAT Paper Pattern does not see any change. It will have four parts: Part I : Physics Part II : Chemistry Part III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning Part IV : Mathematics or Biology (For B. Pharm candidates) • One has to appear for an Online Test of 3 hours duration. • It comprises of four sections • All questions asked are of objective type / multiple choice questions with candidates required to choose one answer out of four options. • Every correct answer carries 3 marks • Every incorrect answer will be awarded -1 mark • One can skip a question if they desire to and come back later to answer it • The total number of questions in BITSAT are 150 questions • There is no time limit section wise for the test. • One can answer any questions, any sections and go back to edit their previous answers too within the 3 hour duration of test. • One capable of answering the 150 question within the specified time can attempt an additional 12 questions (four each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry only). • One who chooses to answer these extra 12 questions will not be able to go to the actual BITSAT exam to change any of the 150 answers completed previously. • All questions and question Papers are in English • One is given different papers as the questions are randomly selected from a large database by the computer. |
