Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test BITSAT exam is conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) for admissions to various Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering in the university.

BITSAT 2016 was conducted from May 14 to May 28, 2016

Revision/Editing in the application form by candidates March 6-7, 2016 or later
Deadline to apply March 8, 2016
Test center allotment & announcement to candidates March 10, 2016 or later
Candidates to reserve test dates From March 21 to April 10, 2016
Candidates to download the hall tickets with instructions
From April 6, 2016 onwards
BITSAT online tests May 14-May 28, 2016
BITSAT online test for selected candidates May 26, 2016
Candidates to apply for admission with 12th class marks & preferences to degree programmes From May 20 to June 30, 2016
Admit list & wait list announcement July 1, 2016

BITSAT 2016 Exam Pattern:

BITSAT 2016 is being conducted with 3 hour exam duration

The exam is of objective-type and is divided in 4 parts - Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV.

With a total of 150 questions, each correct answer of BITSAT 2016 fetches 3 marks, while for every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted (-1).
