Re: Biochemistry ccsu
Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of Central Connecticut State University offers B.S. Chemistry and B.S. Biochemistry majors, which are professionally accredited by the American Chemical Society. The students also enjoy student-faculty interactions, educational opportunities, and comparatively low tuition that make it an appealing educational option. Academic Programs The Department offer four majors and two minors to prepare students for a variety of science careers. The department also offers students in other disciplines an opportunity to minor in either chemistry as a general minor or for teaching certification. ACS Certified Program The American Chemical Society (ACS) accreditation program ensures that its chemistry and biochemistry graduates are taking classes that meet a national standard for chemistry and biochemistry education. General Program A more flexible chemistry and biochemistry program is available to one who wants greater control of the course offerings or an alternative to the standards set forth by ACS.
