Bihar State Sunni wakf Board is a corporate body.
It was established in the year 1948.

One of the functions of the Board is to get the Wakf properties/Institutions registered in the Board.

The head office of the Bihar State Sunni Wakf Board is located 2nd floor, Haz Bhavan 34, ali Imam Path, Harding Road, Patna - 800001 is mainly responsible for the supervision of Administration of Wakf/Institution and its attached property spread over the entire state.
The functions of the Board shall be -

To maintain a record containing information relating to the origin. income, object and beneficiaries of every wakf;

To ensure that the income and other property of wakfs are applied to the objects and for the purposes for which such wakfs were intended or created:

To give directions for the administration of wakfs;

To settle schemes of management for a wakf:
Provided that no such settlement shall be made without giving the parties affected an opportunity of being heard;
