Bihar public Service Commission Competitive Examination
Hello, I want to appear for the Bihar public service commission competitive examination. So I am looking for the details regarding the exam. So can you please provide me the details regarding the exam including the syllabus and the paper pattern of the exam?

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is the organization responsible for conducting the recruitment Officers through various Competitive Examinations (BPSC Exams) and interviews to the services of various departments of the Government of Bihar. Eligibility Criteria Qualifications Age Qualification: Minimum age limit for posts no. 2 and 10 is 20 years, for post no. 11 is 21 years and for rest all posts is 22 years. Maximum age limit for all posts: Unreserved Male candidates: 37 years. Unreserved Female and BC/ EBC (male & female) candidates: 40 years. SC/ ST (male & female) candidates: 42 years. There is age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen. There is also reservation for Physically Handicapped (PH) and grandchildren of Ex-freedom fighters from Bihar. Reservation is only applicable to permanent residents of Bihar. Physical Requirements: Bihar Police Service: Height - 5 ft 5 in Chest (Non-Expanded) - 32 in For SCs and STs: Height - 5 ft 3 in Chest (Non-Expanded) - 31 in For Females: Height - 5 ft 2 in Educational Qualifications: Candidate should have acquired a Bachelors Degree or equivalent degree. Examination Pattern Preliminary Examination: It is qualifying in nature. It consists of one General Studies paper with 150 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each. There is no negative marking. However, each question has 5 options with None of Above or More than one of the Above being one. Mains Examination: BPSC has changed the exam pattern last year. Now it will have papers of: General Hindi (Qualifying): 100 marks General Studies - I: 300 marks General Studies - II: 300 marks Optional Paper: 300 marks Agriculture Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science Anthropology Botany Chemistry Civil Engineering Commerce & Accountancy Economics Electrical Engineering Geography Geology History Labour and Social Welfare Law Management Mathematics Mechanical Engineering Philosophy Physics Political Science & International Relations Psychology Public Administration Sociology Statistics Zoology Hindi Language and Literature English Language and Literature Urdu Language and Literature Bangla Language and Literature Sanskrit Language and Literature Persian Language and Literature Arabic Language and Literature Pali Language and Literature Maithili Language and Literature |
