The syllabus of the UET Social Science Syllabus for the BHU entrance examination is as given below:

B.A Hons. Social Science Entrance Test Syllabus & Format

Before appearing for an entrance exam you must have complete details of what type of questions would be there and how much time you will get to answer these questions. Check out the details given below to get familiar with the entrance exam pattern and syllabus of BHU UET 2015 B.A Hons Social Science

1) There will be one paper consisting of 150 multiple choice questions carrying total 450 marks. Applicants will be given 120 minutes to answer them.

2) These questions shall be based on

General Awareness,
General Mental Ability,
Numerical Ability,
Comprehension and subject awareness of the subjects including basic knowledge of Plants and Animals, Environment and its Pollution, Human Body, Human Health, Common Diseases, Population Explosion, Production of Food and Raw Materials, Solar System, Climate and Weather, Natural Resources & Industry and Elementary knowledge of History, Political Science, Social Studies, Psychology and Economics

3) In paper there will be two sets of multiple choice questions on Language comprehension, one each in Hindi and English, candidates are allowed to answer either the Hindi language set or the English language set but not both. The standard will be of +2 Examinations or equivalent.

Important Details:

1) There will split exam for each course and there will be common exam for courses listed below.
B. Com. (Hons.)/B. Com. (Hons.)-Financial Markets Management- RGSC
B.Sc. (Ag.)/ B.Sc. (Ag.)- RGSC

2) For courses having common entrance examination, the admission will happen on the basis of applicant’s merit in the common entrance exam, his/her choice or inclination for course and his/her eligibility for the course.

3) Those applicant’s who fill the application form for more than one course will have to appear for separate entrance test.
