Banaras Hindu University Pre Medical Test BHU PMT is an All India Level Entrance Test conducted by the Banaras Hindu University for admission in the MBBS and other courses available under Institute of Medical Studies (IMS).

BHU PMT 2017 Tentative dates-

BHU PMT 2017 Admission form releasing date 1st week of January 2017
Last date of form submission End of February 2017
BHU PMT 2017 Admit Card releasing date 1st week of April 2017
BHU PMT Screening will be held on 2nd week of May 2017
BHU PMT Main will be held on 2nd week of June 2017

BHU PMT Eligibility Criteria

Passed intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together.

For MBBS/BDS/BAMS:

A minimum of 50% marks for general and 45% for general-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC/SC/ST and respective PC candidates.

For B.Pharm:

A minimum of 60% marks for general / OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates.

Minimum age limit of the candidates is 17 years.

Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.

BHU PMT Paper Pattern

The Exam will be conducted in two sections:

1. BHU PMT Screening

Section Question Duration
Physics 50 question 3 Hours
Chemistry 50 question
Biology -
Botany 50 question
Zoology 50 question

Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks
1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
