The University of Florida is an American public land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant research university located in Gainesville, Florida. The University was established on 1853. It is a senior member of the State University System of Florida Bachelor Of Health Science The Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) program is a limited access program designed for students whose career goal is to work in the health professions providing service to individuals and communities. Degree Awarded for all Tracks: Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) Total # Hours Required for Graduation: 120 (from freshman through senior year) Total # Hours Required in the Junior-Senior Year: 60 semester credits of 3000-level coursework or higher. 2000-level courses taken in the junior-senior years do not count toward the 60 semester credits of required junior-senior level coursework. CORE COURSES: Students in the general health science track complete 35 credits of core courses.
