The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences is provides admission for MBBS and other medical courses. The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established in July 1998 by Punjab Act No. 18. It is named after Baba Farid, a 12th-century Punjabi sufi, and headquartered in Faridkot. The Government of Punjab is notify the admission criteria to Undergraduate Degree courses of MBBS and BDS onwards in the Government & Private Medical/Dental Institutes, including Institutes under Private Universities and Minority Institutions in the State of Punjab. The Government of Punjab has authorized Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot to conduct centralized counseling for admissions into MBBS/BDS course on the basis of marks obtained in NEET.
