Berhampur University is a public university located in Brahmapur, Odisha, India. Founded in the year 1967 .

The Information About the MSc Botany Course of the Berhampur University is given below

About the Course

The Post-Graduate (M.Sc.) curricula in Botany is of two-years duration with total of 1500 marks. The system of examinations is of semester pattern. There will be four semesters consisting of four theory papers for First, Second and Third semesters and two theory papers for the Fourth Semester.

Class Schedule
10:30 am -2:15 pm (5 theory Classes and 3 practical classes, 45 minutes each).

Examination Pattern

There will be two practical papers in each semester (First to Third) and one practical in the Fourth semester.

In addition, students have to carry out a project work to be initiated in the third semester and shall be completed in the Fourth semester.

Each theory paper carries an internal assessment of 20% of the total marks. Each theory and practical examinations will be of three hours duration.

The project work carries 100 marks, 50 for the dissertation and 50 for the seminar presentation
