The examination for the post of IPS officer is conducted by the UPSC every year. The examination is known as Civil Service Examination. The eligibility criteria for Civil Service Exam:- To apply for the Civil Service Examination a candidate must has passed Graduation in any stream from a recognized Institute. The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 30 years. As you are pursuing Graduation you are not eligible to apply for the Civil Service Examination. After Graduation you will become eligible. Eligibility To appear for Civil Service Examination you must be Indian. A graduation degree in any disciple is required. Age Limit Age limit for Civil Service Exam is 21 to 30 years. OBC - 21 to 33 years SC/ST - 21 to 35 years If you want to prepare for the Civil Service Examination then you can prepare for the Aptitude test, Reasoning, English and Mathematics etc. Tips to prepare It is important that you keep yourself updated with current affairs. Watch a lot of news and read newspaper. Make sure you are not missing out on any major event. You should work on your command over English language at the same time read Business and Politics magazines to prepare for the General studies paper. It could be subject related to your bachelor course which would be B.Tech in IT. |
