Become a Customs Officer after MCA
I have done MCA and now want to become Customs Officer so please tell me which exam I have to fight for it?

To become a Customs Officer you have to fight civil services Examination. It is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. This Entrance Exam provides entry into 27 different services which includes the Indian Customs & Central Excise Services. Eligibility Criteria Graduation degree with at least 55% marks from recognized University Age Limit: Age should be above 19 yrs The notifications are published in the employment newspaper The exam is conducted every year but there are many other private companies who offer the same job. Qualities required for the position as a Custom Officer Indian citizenship Must possess a Vehicle license Ability to work flexible schedules Have reliable transportation Should never have used drugs of any kind Must pass an extensive background check Must be able to successfully complete all training required for the desired position Must be able to activate a radio or telephone equipment and console monitors Civil service examination has two papers in two steps: Prelimary Examination – The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type multiple-choice questions carrying maximum of 400 marks. The Question Papers set in English & Hindi. It consists of two papers - Paper I and Paper II each of 200 marks and 2 hr duration. Main Examination – Candidates who qualify the Prelimary examination are eligible for the main examination. The Main examination comprises of nine papers, all of them of a descriptive type |

Yes, you are eligible to become Customs Officer after completing MCA course. To become Customs Officer you should have to appear in exam conducted by UPSC. Eligibility Criteria : Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks. Age limit- 18 years old Nationality: Indian citizenship Other requirements : Must possess a Vehicle license Ability to work flexible schedules Have aptitude to cooperate genially and communicate with the community Should never have used drugs of any kind Must pass an extensive background check Must be able to activate a radio or telephone equipment and console monitors Selection Procedure : PRELIM exam MAIN exam INTERVIEW Here is the attachment. |
