The Arbutus Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library now offers passport services. The services are available Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m.-7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. No appointments are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome and are processed on a first come, first served basis. The branch is processing new applications only, no renewals. There are separate fees for the Department of State and BCPL processing fees. Department of State passport fees are payable by check or money order only. After the passport is processed, the passport will be mailed to the customer at home. The average wait time for a new passport is four to six weeks depending on the time of year, but expedited services are available for an additional fee.
