I want to apply for BC/EBC Post Matric Scholarship offered by the Backward & Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department, Bihar so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria of it?

All Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class students of Bihar pursuing recognized post matriculation courses in India in recognized institutions can get the BC/EBC Post Matric Scholarship provided their parents/ guardian’s income is not more than Rs. 1.00 lakhs ( one lakhs ) per annum.

Applicable State : Bihar

Eligibility-

The candidate must be studying in any recognized institute of government /govt. aided in the Bihar state.

The candidates must be the resident of Bihar state. Submit the proof of residence like Domicile certificate

The candidate must belongs to Backward classed/ Extreme Backward classes- Submit Caste certificate

The Candidates parent’s or family annual income should not exceed Rs. One Lac from all sources. The Income Certificate is required in this regard.

Two candidates from one parents are eligible to apply for Post Matric Scholarship in Bihar.
