A government organisation namely Backward & Extremely Backwards Class Welfare Dept. responsible for the scholarship program to help the students in the field of education by providing financial help by mean of Scholarship.The government of Bihar is offering the scholarship to meritorious candidates of weaker section of society.

Eligibility Criteria

There are few criteria for the post-matric scholarship program of Bihar. Firstly, the scholarship is for only to those candidates who have scored more than 50% marks in the last examination. Secondly, the income of parents must not be more than Rs 2,00,00

Scholarship Amount
Engineering/ Medical/ Management/ Any other course Rs 15000
3-year diploma Rs 10,000
ITI course Rs 5,000
Post Graduate courses like M. Sc., M. Com., M.A., M. Phil and any other equivalent course Rs5,000
Graduate courses like B. Sc., B.A., B. Com. and any other equivalent courseRs5,000
For Intermediate/ISC, ICOM and any other equivalent courses Rs 2,000
