Re: Bath Spa university hardship fund

As you have asked about the Bath Spa University hardship fund, I am giving you information regarding it

BSU Access Fund

The University Access Fund has been established by Bath Spa University to:

Help students in financial hardship
Help in a financial emergency
Help prevent students from withdrawing

Students can apply to the Access Fund at any point throughout the academic year and the summer vacation, excluding final year students who must apply 4 weeks before the end of their course.

Eligibility:
Applicants must:

Have home UK status or be ordinarily resident in the UK
Be a current fully registered student at BSU
Be in receipt of their full Student Finance entitlement
Be attending any full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course
Be attending any part-time undergraduate or postgraduate course (doing at least 50% of a full time course or 25% if they have a disability)

The Access Fund gives priority to the following groups of students when deciding how to allocate the funds:

Students with dependents (especially lone parents)
Mature students, especially those with existing financial commitments
Students from low income families
Disabled students (especially where the Disabled Students’ Allowance is unable to meet particular costs and the institution has no legal responsibility to do so)

The University Access Fund cannot help you to pay tuition fees.
