Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC) organizing Diploma in Radiological Physics (Dip. R.P). Diploma in Radiological Physics is a one year Diploma course can be done after M.Sc. in English medium. Theoretical part consists of radiation physics ,principals of radiation detection and measurements, applications of ionizing radiation and radioisotopes in medicine, industry agriculture and research, radiation and dosimetry and standardization, radiation biology, physics of radiotherapy and medical imaging;, radiation hazard evaluation and control, transport of radioactive materials radiation emergencies and its management. Practical training required for practice of Medical Physicists and Radiological Safety Officers imparted. Eligibility Requirements Upper age limit for general category Applicants is 26 years subject to relaxation of 05 years for SC/ ST , 03 years for OBC and up to 10 years for PH Applicants . Applicant should have done MSc M.Sc. (Physics) with 0% marks in aggregate. Applicant also have done B.Sc. with Physics as main subject with 60% marks in aggregate. Upper age limit for sponsored students is 40 years . Students must have one year working experience in a radiotherapy department of government institution in India. Selection procedure A written test, consisting of MCQ, will be conducted of 02 hours' time duration. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. Students shortlisted on merit basis will go for interview. Sponsored candidates have to appear for interview only. |
