Bank PO Job after 12th Commerce

I have completed 12th class with Commerce and now want to apply for Bank PO Job so please tell me that I am eligible or not? Give detailed eligibility criteria and exam pattern?

No you are not eligible for Bank PO Exam after 12th class with Commerce. First take admission in graduation and then after graduation apply for Bank PO exam. Here I am giving you detailed eligibility criteria and exam pattern of SBI PO Exam?

Eligibility Criteria:

(A) Essential Academic Qualifications:
Graduation or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. Those who are in the Final year of their Graduation/Semester can also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.

(B) Age Limit:
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years.

Upper Age Limit Relaxation:
(i) 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.

(ii) 5 years in the case of:
(a) SC/ST candidates.
(b) Ex-servicemen
(c) Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu and Kashmir between 1st January, 1980 and 31st December, 1989.

(iii) 10 years for VH/OH (Gen); 13 years for VH/OH (OBC) and 15 years for VH/OH (SC/ST) candidates.

General Awareness
Data analysis and interpretation
Reasoning

Marks: 200
Duration: 2 Hrs

Descriptive
English Language (comprehension, small outline, article and letter writing)
Marks: 50
Duration: 1Hr


PHASE II:
Group Discussion
20 Marks

Group Discussion (Rural)
10 Marks

Interview
30 Marks

Experience
10 Marks

Final Selection:
The marks of Group Discussion and SBI Bank PO Interview will be put together and the candidates who secure minimum 40% marks (minimum 35% in case of SC / ST / OBC / PWD) in group discussion and interview will be considered for final selection. The candidate has to pass both in Phase I & II separately.

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for SBI clerk post is 12th/diploma pass with at least 60% of marks.


For other SBI PO, IBPS CLERK and PO, RBI OFFICER and ASSISTANT POSTS is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university and there is no marks percentage criteria

If you have 60% of marks in 12th, then you can apply for SBI CLERK POST & by completing graduation, you can apply for all bank exams

Age limit to apply for BANK CLERK exams is 18-28 years and for BANK PO exams is 21-30 years & the age relaxations are

for OBC candidates is 3 years

for SC/ST candidates is 5 years

for PH candidates is 10 years

The selection process of BANK CLERK & PO exams is

Written test and

Personal interview.


The eligibility Criteria for other IBPS Clerical/Bank PO examination are:

1. Requires qualification is graduation degree.

2. Atleast 60 percent marks for Bank PO.

3. The requirement for SC/ST is 55 percent.

4. No relaxation for OBC.

5. Diploma/degree in Computers is requisite.

6. Or you should have studied Computer Science/IT subject in high school or college.

7. A certificate in Computer operations is also accepted.

8. Age limit is same for both examinations i.e. 20 to 28 years.
