Please find the details below for the eligibility criteria as well as the educational qualification for the entrance exam conducted by IBPS for recruitment of PO’s & Clerks in Nationalised Bank: About IBPS CWE (PO) This is the test held for recruitment to nationalized banks in India for jobs of Probationary Officer (PO). Eligibility criteria: 1. Nationality The candidate must be one of the following: A resident of India A immigrant of Nepal or Bhutan A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01/01/1962 with the reason of permanently settling in India A person of Indian origin who has migrated from other countries (detailed list of countries available on official website) with the purpose of permanently settling in India Provided that a candidate belonging to categories above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Indian government. 2. Age Limit Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years i.e. An applicant must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1985 and not later than 01.07.1995 (both dates inclusive) Relaxation of upper age limit as per the rules. 3. Educational Qualification A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University acknowledged by the Govt. Of India or any corresponding qualification acknowledged as such by the Central Government. The applicant must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and specify the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online. About IBPS CWE (Clerical) This is the test held for recruitment to nationalized banks in India to fill vacancies for clerical level jobs. Eligibility criteria: 1. Nationality The applicant must be one of the following: A resident of India A resident of Nepal or Bhutan A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01/01/1962 with the reason of permanently settling in India A person of Indian origin who has migrated from foreign country (detailed list of countries available on official website) with the purpose of permanently settling in India provided that the applicant belonging to categories above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Indian government. 2. Age Limit An applicant must be between 20 - 28 years as on 01-08-2013 for the Dec 2013 exam. Relaxation of upper age limit as per the rules. 3. Educational Qualification Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification acknowledged as such by the Central Government. Computer literacy: An applicant must have operating and working knowledge of computer systems, possessing a certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations/Language/ or should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute. An applicant who is proficient in the official language of the state or UT, where vacancies are available, will be preferred. |
