Can you tell me about the date for the announcement of result for PMT, now National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020, for admission in MBBS Program offered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences?

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted every year for admission to the first year of MBBS or BDS. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), an organization set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development solely for the purpose of selecting candidates for various courses and conducting the relevant entrance examinations.


NEET Result 2020
NTA will declare the result of NEET 2020 on June 4. The result will be the basis for admissions into the All India Quota as well as the state-wise available MBBS and BDS seats, also seats available in AIIMS and JIPMER colleges for undergraduate courses.


NEET 2020 Exam Dates

Application form release 2nd December 2019
Last date for Submission of application form 6th January 2020 (Extended)
Last date of successful transaction of fee 7th January 2020
Application form correction starts 15th January 2020
Last date for correction in application form 31st January 2020
NEET (UG) Admit Card 27th March 2020
NEET 2020 Exam Date 3rd May 2020
Answer key 2nd week of May 2020
Result announcement 4th June 2020
Counselling date 2nd week of June 2020


NEET UG Eligibility Criteria 2020


Nationality
Indian Nationals
Non Resident Indians (NRIs)
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)
Foreign Nationals


Age Limit
Candidates must at least be 17 years of age by December 31, 2020.
There is no upper age limit.


Qualification
One must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English as subjects.
One appearing for their class 12 or equivalent are also eligible to appear for the exam.


Minimum marks required in qualifying exam
One must have scored the following in their class 12 or equivalent in aggregate:
General category candidates - 50%
PwD candidates - 45%
SC/ST/OBC NCL candidates– 40%


Additional Biology and Open School students
One with Biology as an additional subject in Class 12 are also eligible.
One who has completed Class 11 and Class 12 from open school are also eligible. (Subject to any new guidelines that may be announced by NTA)

No Limit.
