B.Tech in Kaziranga University

Can you tell me about the admission process and fee structure of B Tech course offered by School of Engg & Tech of Kaziranga University as I am planning to take admission in the course?

One who has passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational as one of the subjects is eligible to apply.

One who has obtained minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together is eligible to apply.

Admission Process

B.Tech Programme

• One can either fill the online form or visit the University campus or any of the registered offices of the university to collect the prospectus and application forms.

• Application request by post need to be accompanied by a Demand Draft and a self-addressed envelope of 25 cm x 31 cm size with postage stamp of Rs. 50/-.

• Those applying online should send the printed form along with photocopy of related documents and demand draft in original to the University

• One need to submit the complete application form with prescribed fee.

Lateral Entry in B.Tech Programme

• One must have passed or appeared in the final Semester/Year of B.Sc. Degree (Mathematics as one of the subjects) or Diploma in Engineering during the time of application.

• If one appearing in the final Semester/Year Examination, one should produce the Pass Certificate within 2 months from the date of registration.

• Those appearing in final Semester/Year of B.Sc degree or diploma, Tuition Fee are considered on the basis of cumulative percentage of marks obtained till the last appeared exam.

80% and above in HS/PCM or JEE/CEE/KUEST Rs. 45,000

60% - 80% in HS/PCM or JEE/CEE/KUEST Rs. 50,000

45% - 60% in HS/PCM or JEE/CEE/KUEST Rs. 65,000
