Re: B.Tech After BSC
Hello user, I would like to tell you that it is possible to join B.Tech course after completing B.Sc through the lateral entry scheme which is offered by most of the Engineering collges in India. Let me tell you that this lateral entry is only given to those who have either completed diploma in Engineering or B.Sc course. I am hereby mentioning the various procedures for it which are as follow; 1. After completing your B.Sc you can apply for admission in B.Tech through lateral entry scheme. 2.There are basically 2 ways to get lateral entry admission in B.Tech university. The first way is direct entry which is given on the basis of your performance in B.Sc. If you have scored around 60 percent in B.Sc then It would be very easy to get direct entry. Second way is by appearing in lateral entry scheme entrance exam called LEET. 3. I must mention this that most universities reserve some Engineering seats for the lateral entry. It is usually around 10 percent of total seats, however this number varies from university to university. The various Eligibility Criteria for this course is as follow: 1.You must have Bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized college with at least 60 percent marks. 2. As you are a bsc degree holder you will get lateral entry will have to follow the patter of 10+2+3 which means B.Sc course after 12th. It is important to have Mathematics as one of the subjects in B.Sc course for lateral entry. However when applying for B.Tech in Biotech, B.Sc with Medical would be required. Hope that much of the information will be good enough for you. Thank you visit again. Wish you all the success |
