I would like to know the details of the process to join NDA after completing Bachelors in Science Degree, please guide?

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and the examination for the same is conducted by Union Public Service Commission; which is held twice in a year to join Defence services.

Age limit for National Defence Academy examination is 16.5 to 19 years.

One can apply for CDS examination after B.Sc to join defence services. CDS examination stands for Combined Defence Service by UPSC twice in a year.

Age limit:-

Military – 19-24 years

Navy – 19-22 years

Air force – 19-23 years

OTA – 19-24 years

Selection Procedure:-

Written Exam

SSB Interview

Medical test

Examination Fee:
The fees for the examination is around Rs. 200/- for the GM/OBC but for the SC/ST there are no fees charged.

Yea after B.Sc or any graduates degree candidates may join NDA. NDA will be organised an entrance for interested candidates.

The cadets at NDA undergo a three year training programme at the end of which they are awarded a BA or BSc or BSc (Computer Science) degree by the JNU.

Join NDA-I Exam Apply Online After 11th, 12th, BA, BSc, Eligibility:

Students who have passed X class and studying in 10+2/Intermediate in final year and students who have already passed XII standard exam or higher exam may apply for National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam.

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University

For Naval Wings of National Defence Academy
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University

For Air Force Wing of National Defence Academy
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University

Final Year Students
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

Students of 11th Class:
Candidates appearing in the 11th class exam are not eligible for NDA 2018 examination
