Hello ! I am Surekha and have done my 10 + 2 now want to do B.ed from Vidyasagar University ..but prior to that I want to know the duration of B.ed course ???? Also provide the admission form of Vidyasagar University ?? If possible than provide the form in Pdf format???/

I am interested in the field of teaching and for this planning to join Vidyasagar University for doing B.Ed degree searching for course details. Will you tell what the eligibility required to apply for B.Ed degree here and admission dates so that I can apply for admission here?

Vidyasagar University was established by an Act of the West Bengal legislature which was notified in the Calcutta Gazette on 24 June 1981.

It is an affiliating university in Paschim Medinipur district of southern West Bengal, India

B.Ed admission dates:

Events Dates

Submission of online application will start from June 2018
End date for submission of application form June 2018
Release of provisional merit list July 2018
Counselling will begin from July 2018
Admission start from July 2018

B.Ed Eligibility:

For both Fresher & Deputed candidates

Candidates having minimum 50% marks (45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH Category) either in Bachelors Degree and/or in Masters degree courses, in Science/ Arts/Commerce with two subjects at the degree level of the available routine subjects taught in the colleges are eligible to apply.

Candidates having BE/B.Tech in UG level with minimum 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH Category) is also eligible to apply.

The age limit of Fresher candidates will be 38 years as on admission year

Deputed candidates should have minimum one year experience in teaching for Class IX onwards in West Bengal Govt.-aided institution as on admission year.

Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be made by the Central selection committee for B.Ed through counseling as per the Category wise merit/rank.
