The Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak offers Bachelor Of Education B.Ed (Special Education) program of duration 2 years.

Bachelor Of Education B.Ed (Special Education)

The duration of the course shall be two years which can be completed in a maximum period four years

Specializations -

a) Education of Mentally Retarded Children
b) Education of Learning Disabled Children
c) Education of Hearing Impaired Children

Eligibility-

Candidates with at least 50% marks (47.5% for SC/ST, Blind, Physically
handicapped and visually impaired) either in the Bachelor Degree and/or in the
Masters Degree or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto are
eligible for admission to the programme.

Relaxation in percentage for admission to be given as per State Govt. norms.

V INTRODUCTION TO LEARNING DISABILITIES
VI ASSESSMENT OF CHILDREN WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES
VII INTERVENTION AND REMEDIATION

Group A

Opt. i Teaching of English
Opt. ii Teaching of Hindi
Opt. i Teaching of Social Studies
Opt. ii Teaching of Mathematics

PART II PRACTICALS (PAPERS X-XI) Max. Marks: 200

(B.Ed Practical Exam will be conducted by an External Team consisting of one Coordinator (Head Examiner should be of the parent University) and two Members (Sub -Examiners duly approved by the University) in one day. While constituting the team Coordinator will be tak en into consideration and it will not overlap with the Teaching subjects of other two examiners.
Thus, a team will cover all the three teaching subjects i.e. Teaching of Languages, Teaching of Sciences and Teaching of Social Studies- Practical Examinations Team will conduct all practical papers from X-XI i.e. School Experience Programme)
