The Guru Nanak Dev University GNDU offers Bachelor Of Education (B.Ed.) program of duration 2 years

B.Ed Program

Duration 2 years

B.Ed Eligibility:

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors degree and/or in the Masters degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

Entrance Exam Scheme:

The Entrance Test shall be conducted shortly in the following papers in single booklet and in one session of 2 hours duration (10.30 A.M. to 1.00 P.M.)

Part-I
Part-A General Awareness Test 50 Marks
Part-B Teaching Potential 50 Marks
Part-C General Mental Ability Test 50 Marks

Paper-II
1) English : Compulsory for all Candidates 50 marks and 50 Marks
2) Punjabi : Compulsory for all those Candidates who
have studied Punjabi in Matriculation

OR

Hindi : Compulsory for all those Candidates who have not studied Punjabi in Matriculation 50 Marks

The paper-1 will consist of 150 multiple choice questions whereas Paper-II will consist of 100 MCQs.

One Time Registration for Common Entrance Test-cum-Counselling Fee:

(i) SC Candidates Rs. 1000/- (ii) Others Rs. 2000/-
