AIIMS MBBS 2020 exam has been replaced by NEET. Through this exam, candidates are provided admission into MBBS programme. Admission will be provided to various AIIMS Institutes located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Guntur, Patna, Raipur and Bhubaneshwar.

NEET (UG) – 2020

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) 2020 (NEET (UG) - 2020) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.


AIIMS 2020 Exam Dates

Basic registration starts (PAAR) for MBBS 2020 4th week of November 2019
Closing date for basic registration 2nd week of January 2020
Status update of basic registration (accepted or not accepted) 2ndweek of January 2020
Correction of deficiency in basic registration (if not accepted) 3rd week of January 2020
Final status of basic registration 4thweek of January 2020
Code generation of final registration 4th week of January 2020
Last date for code generation 3rd week of February 2020
Final registration (fee payment) 4th week of February 2020
Last date for Final registration 2nd week of March 2020
Admit card availability 3rd week of May 2020
AIIMS MBBS 2020 exam 30th & 31st May 2020
Result announcement 16th June 2020
First counselling 1st week of July 2020
Second counselling 1st week of August 2020
Third counselling 1st week of September 2020
Open counselling (if required) 4th week of September 2020


AIIMS 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:
Indian Citizens, OCI and Foreign National candidates are eligible to apply.

Qualification:
One must qualify 12th (10+2) scheme/ SSC examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.SC.) or any equivalent examination.

Mandatory Subjects:
One must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) with English as mandatory subjects.

Percentage:
One must score minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ OPH & Foreign National) category candidates.

Lower Age limit:
One must be 17 years in age as on 31st December 2020.

Upper Age limit:
There will be no upper age limit for AIIMS MBBS 2020.


NEET 2020 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode:
NEET 2020 exam will be conducted through offline (pen-paper based) mode.

Questions Type:
Question paper will contain objective type of questions.

Medium:
The question paper will be available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Kannada Languages.

No of questions:
There will be total 180 questions in the paper.

Total Marks:
The paper will be total of 720 marks.

Duration:
NEET exam duration is 3 hours.

Marking Scheme:
Each correct answer will award 4 marks.

Negative Marking:
1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
