I want to apply for M.Ed. Entrance Exam for admission in M.Ed course in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University so tell me the eligibility criteria for this entrance exam? provide me the exam pattern and the syllabus of M.Ed. Entrance Exam for the preparation of exam?

The Dr Ram Manohar Lohia University has been instituted as an affiliated university on April 1984 as per the Notification No. 1192/ fifteen-10-46 (6)-1975 passed as on 4th March 1975. The university offers higher education in a number of disciplines including the following: Engineering/ Technology, Economics, Microbiology, Rural Development, Culture & Archeology, Bio Chemistry, Mathematics & Statistics, Physics & Electronics, Environmental Sciences, Functional History and Management respectively.

As per the decision the University will conduct State level “Common Eligibility Test” for admission to various “Doctoral Programs” in State Universities of U.P., the
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad shall conduct the above said test at different centers.

Eligibility :-

1. A Masters degree in relevant subject (See List of Subjects in Table-1) with a
minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Letter Grade/Grade Point under the
Seven Point Letter Grade Scale laid down by the UGC. A 5% relaxation in
minimum marks at PG level shall be given to SC/ST and physically
handicapped/disabled candidates.

OR

The bare minimum educational qualification prescribed by the individual State
University in their Statutes/Ordinances etc for admission to Doctoral
program.

2. The aspirants appearing in Final year/Final semester examination are also
eligible to apply. However they will have to generate their Final year/Final
Semester examination result at the time of admission. The Eligibility test
result of such aspirants will be declared provisionally.

3. ‘UGC bare minimum standards and procedures for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. degree
Regulation 2009’ read with clarification on Guidelines for admission in
Ph.D. circulated vide Letter No. F.1-1/2002(PS)/Exemp Part file III March
2011 shall be applicable with respect to NET qualified aspirants.

Examination Fee:-
Rs. 800/= for General/OBC aspirants and Rs. 400/= for SC/ST aspirants.
