Re: Aurangabad MTDC
Hello, here I am providing you the details of the Aurangabad of the Maharashtra Tourism as under: About Aurangabad Globally known as a favourite destination because of its proximity to the Ajanta and Ellora caves, Aurangabad serves as a major tourist hub that offers a wide array of network services to visit some of the most important attractions around it. The city is linked with Mumbai by air, rail and road and an excellent road network connects Aurangabad with the rest of the state. Apart from Ajanta and Ellora, the city also serves as a transit point for Pitalkhora, Daulatabad, Khultabad, Paithan and Shirdi. Places to watch: Ajanta Maharashtra is known for its abundance of Buddhist caves – about 800 of them spread across various districts. But of these, the 32 caves at the World Heritage Site of Ajanta stand out distinctively and attract tourists in large numbers because of their architectural splendour, Buddhist legacy and artistic masterpieces, including narratives painted on the walls of ‘chaityas’ (prayer halls) and ‘viharas’(residential cells). Bibi Ka Maqbara As the 10th most visited tourist site of the country, the Bibi Ka Maqbara is an outstanding example of tradition of Mughal architecture in India and is to Aurangabad what the Taj Mahal is to Agra. Daultabad (Devigiri) Fort For most tourists, Aurangabad is synonymous with the caves at Ajanta and Ellora.
