Can you tell me about the Scholarships offered in American University in Cairo as I want to apply for admission in its Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program?

One of the major priorities is providing scholarships and financial aid support to its students, in order to further AUCs (American University in Cairo) mission of building a culture of leadership ready to contribute to both Egypt and the international community in diverse fields.

Scholarship support enables AUC to attract gifted youngsters, regardless of their financial circumstances, to the University and provide them with an education that empowers them to create positive change in Egypt and the world.

AUC offers scholarships based on merit and need. Generally, scholarships are reserved for students with special qualifications, such as academic, athletic or artistic talent and who demonstrate high financial need.

AUC offers more than 90 named scholarships supported by individuals and corporations. These prestigious funds from donors have allowed AUC to recruit and educate outstanding and deserving students who come from different cities, countries and educational backgrounds.

Egyptian Students
AUC offers scholarships based on merit and need. Generally, scholarships are reserved for students with strong academic qualifications who demonstrate high financial need.

The types of scholarships are categorized according to the following:

Need-Based Scholarships (scholarships that are based on both financial need and academic merit)
Need-Based AUC Funded Scholarships (scholarships that are based on financial need and are funded by AUC)
Need-Based Named Scholarships (scholarships that are based on financial need and are named after a donor)
Need-Based Sponsored Scholarships
Merit-Based Named Scholarships (scholarships that are based on academic merit and are named after a donor)
Merit-Based AUC-Funded Scholarships (scholarships that are based on academic merit and funded by AUC)

Non-Egyptian Students
