Assam Police requirements

The Assam Police announces every year the recruitment for the Posts of Sub Inspector and Constables respectively in the months of March/April.

Here I am providing you the details for the Posts of Sub Inspector and Constables.

Positions-

1. Junior Assistants
2. Stenographers Grade III

Eligibility-

High School/ Class 10th passed from the Board of Secondary Education, Assam or Central Board of Secondary Education or any other Boards equivalent thereto for this purpose.

Diploma in Computer Applications/ Type Writing (for Junior Assistants)

National Trade Certificate from Assam ITI or any other recognized institute equivalent to it with 80 words per minute in English

Age Criteria-

Age must be between18 to 38 years.

Selection Process-

The candidates will be short listed through written exam and interview.
The written exam comprises of paper on the following- English
General Knowledge (100 marks)
Typing / Computer Test (50 marks) for both the posts.

Application fees-

The application forms will be submitted offline by paying a Treasury Challan of Rs. 50 for general and Rs. 25 for all other category of candidates to be deposited to the Accounts Head in the form of either of the following Bank Draft/ Cash/ Cheque/ Money Order respectively.

Pay Range-

Pay Band I of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of (Rs.2200 (JA); Rs. 2900 (S))
