Hello sir, what eligibility is needed for to fill online application form of Assam Education TET test?

The Government in the Secondary Education Department vide the Assam Secondary Education Service Rule’s, has prescribed the amended qualifications for direct recruitment to the post of graduate teachers.

Accordingly First Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Secondary Education in Assam was conducted by the Government of Assam, in Secondary Education Department.

Education Qualification:
Candidates should atleast pass their Senior Secondary Examination or any other equivalent degree and here atleast 45% of marks are required
(OR)
The candidates should atleast pass their B.A or B.Sc. or If they have passed or appearing in the B.Ed or Senior Secondary, they can take up this test.


Age Limit:
Candidates age between the 18 to 40 years age

Application fee:
All the candidates have to pay Rs.400/- as application fee

Structure & Content of Test:

The examination shall be for 200 marks of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each one of them carrying equal marks.

The subject areas broadly are as follows:

Pedagogy & General English 100 MCQs 100
Total Marks 200
