Assam Down Town University (ADTU), Guwahati has been managed by the Down Town Charity Trust promoted by Down Town Hospital Ltd. It was the 1st paramedical college in the region which was affiliated to Assam Government Health University. The Assam Government granted the campus a university status as well as got permission from AICTE to start programs in engineering, management and pharmacy. The university is committed to offer quality education and has been recognized by UGC, AICTE, INC, PCI and IAP.
