I am interested in the field of teaching and for this I am planning to give the ARS NET Exam want details of this exam. Can you tell me what the full form and eligibility criteria of ARS NET Exam also provide pattern and important dates for this exam so that I can apply on time for this?

The full form of ARS NET is Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) National Eligibility Test (NET).

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) National Eligibility Test (NET) is the examination conducted for the post of Lecturer and Assistant Professor in state and other agricultural universities.

Eligibility:

Age Limit –

You must have attained the age of 21 years as on 1 August 2015. Maximum age limit is 32 years. Relaxation in age is provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Educational Qualification –

You must have Master degree or equivalent from the concerned discipline from a state or central recognized institute.

ASRB NET Exam Pattern

There shall ne one paper of 150 marks weightage.
Duration of the test is 120 minutes.
Total number of questions in the examination – 150.
Type of questions – multiple choice/objective type.
For each correct answer, 1 mark would be credited.
For each incorrect answer, 1/3 marks would be deducted from the candidate’s score.
Language medium of the question paper – English and Hindi.
Mode of the examination – online.
Candidate has to mark his answer on computer using mouse.
Use of keyboard is prohibited.
Standard of paper will be that of a Master’s degree of an Indian University.
