Army Public School is a school in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Its main entrance is located on Vishwamitra Marg in Pune Cantonment near the Southern Command Signal Regiment and Pune Race course.
The school was founded in June 1988 in Dighi, a suburb of Pune. It was shifted to its current location in April 1997.
It is divided into two wings:
• Junior Wing (Classes I to III)
• Senior Wing (Classes IV to XII).

The school is controlled by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). It follows the CBSE Board of Education in India. The school has three science laboratories and following:

• one biotechnology lab
• one mathematics lab
• two libraries
• three computer laboratories
• three music rooms (one for Indian music, the other for western music)
• an art room
• three audio visual rooms
• Computer room for teacher training.
The school has a spacious auditorium, a library, a basketball court, a football field, three volleyball courts, a cricket pitch and table tennis facilities.

Admission Criteria
Following category of children will be admitted based on Transfer Certificate (TC) from previous school are:

a. Children who are coming on Pass/promoted TC from another APS/Army School can be admitted throughout the year.

b. Children who have studied for 10 academic months in another APS/Army School, KV and are seeking admission after 31 July.
c. An evaluation test may be taken for children, to give facility, further academic coaching and allocation of sections.


d. No Admission test will be conducted for the students who are coming from Army Schools/Army Public Schools.
