Army Officer Physical Standard

Hi I am 165 cm tall so can I eligible to apply for the post of Army Officer in Indian Army?

Yeah you are eligible with 165 cm height as the mini height required for this is 155 Cm.
Recruitment of Commissioned Officers in the Armed Forces is mainly through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) under Permanent Commission.

Eligibility-

Candidates should possess Graduation from any recognized university.
Age limit should be 18-42 years as on 30-06-2014.

Physical Standard-

1.Height - Above 155 Cm
2.Weight - 52 Kg
3.Eye Sight - 6/6 (No colour Blindness)
4.there should be no knocked knee issue
5.there should be no chronic diseases
6.there should be no Sugar / BP / Colour Blindness

Selection Process-

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test, interview.
