As you want to apply for APPSC Group 2 , the eligibility criteria required for this Post is : Academic Qualification: Applicants who are going to apply for APPSC group 2 jobs should have graduate degree in concerned discipline from a repudiated university or institute. Age Criteria: Age limit of participating contenders should not less than 18 years and not more than 36 years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: SC/ST and BCs 5 Years Physically handicapped 10 Years Ex-Service men 3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces N.C.C. (who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C.) 3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department with a minimum service of 6 months. 3 Years A.P. State Government Employees (Employees of APSEB, APSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc are not eligible). 5 Years based on the length of regular service Syllabus of APPSC Group 2 Paper I -General Science -Current Events of National and International Importance. -History of India. -India and World Geography. -General Mental Ability. -Indian National Movement. -Social, Economic and Political Aspects. -19th Century Resurgence, Growth of Nationalism. -Attainment of Independence. -Geography of India. -Indian Agricultural. -Natural Resources. -Physical, Social and Economic Geography of the Country etc. Paper II -Social and Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh. -History of Various Social and Cultural movements in Andhra Pradesh. -Buddhism and Jainism. -Establishment of British Rule. -Andhra Mahasabha. -Formation of Andhra Pradesh. -General overview of the Indian Constitution. -Salient features. -Distinctive features of Indian Federation. -Community development experiment. -Unicameral and Bicameral Legislatures etc. Paper III -Planning in India and Indian Economy. -Planning in Indian Economy. -Endowment of Natural Resources. -Money Banking and Public Finances. -Human Capital. -Contemporary Problems. -Developments in Rural Society with special reference to AP. |
