Ph.D. or D.Phil. English or Doctor of Philosophy in English is doctorate degree English course.
The duration of the programme is minimum two years.

Eligibility
A Masters degree is required to gain admission to a doctoral program.

Admission is offered on the basis of an interview held usually a month before the commencement of the semester for which admission is sought.
The interview may be supplemented by a written test, if necessary.

Doctor of Philosophy in English (Ph.D in English) is a doctorate course which offeres research on literature, linguistics and philosophy of the English language.

Eligibility Criteria:

For admission in Ph.D English course, applicant need to pass master degree in relevant discipline with at least 55% marks.

Selection Criteria:

Selection of the candidate depends on written test/ interview.

How to apply:
