Hey as Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (erstwhile, University of Roorkee) is a premier institution of engineering and technology in India.

Requirements of following documents along with the application:

Copy of mark sheets and certificates of 10th, 12th and B.Tech


Experience letter of the previous organizations (if, any) and Joining letter and latest salary slip of the current organization as proof of work-ex.

Copy of CAT Score card.

Challan Copy (Institute copy).

Copy of Document stating your category in case of OBC/SC/ST/PH

Medical certificate needed in case of only the PH candidates, but others will also need to get it at the time of admission or interview.

All photocopies required at the time of application should be attested.


Eligibility Criteria:


Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Engineering/Technology with first class or its equivalent, or a Master’s degree with first class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised Institution or University.

Final year students are also eligible to apply.

Candidates of General/OBC category seeking admission to the PG program must have at least 60% (SC/ST/PD 55%) marks or 6.00 (SC/ST/PD 5.50) CGPA on a 10 point scale at qualifying degree level.


The SC/ST Category candidates must submit the requisite certificate from a competent authority as given in Annexure-1 at the time of Interview/GD.


Selection Procedure:


Candidates are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs.

Initial short listing of candidates, for sending invitation letters for Interview/GD, shall be done on the basis of their performance in CAT

The final merit for making offers of admission to the Program will be on the basis of their aggregate performance in the Written Test followed by Group Discussion, Interview and their Work Experience .
