Anna University B.tech Apparel technology program is designed to provide the students with a thorough background in fundamental and advanced concepts of scientific, technological and management principles, and ability to define and solve challenging tasks in the fields of textiles, merchandising, designing, garment construction, industrial engineering, quality assurance, environmental management, fashion retailing and human resource management

Admission eligibility
Students must have passed in HSC (academic or vocational course) or its equivalent in English medium with a minimum 50% marks in Math, Physics and Chemistry (45% for Backward Class including Backward Class Muslim 40% MBC & DNC, SC/ST)


Students shall have not completed 21 years of age as on first of July of the year of application (3year relaxation for SC/ST)
