Ansal University was established in 2012 under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006 in the city of Gurgaon, National Capital Region (NCR), India.

It was affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) and was established in August 2000 under the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust.

It is a private university now, Ansal University. Sushant School of Art and Architecture is also on the same campus.
