Annual Fees For MBBS In AIMS
I am planning to do MBBS course from the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences so please give me some details about the annual fees structure of the MBBS course in All India Institutes of Medical Sciences? Also give me the process to submit the fees of it?

Goals and objectives of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Program offered by AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) is to spot and manage common health problems of the individual and the community appropriate to position as a member of the health team at primary, secondary and tertiary levels; be able to practice preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative medicine in respect to the commonly encountered health problems and practice Evidence Based Medicine, appreciating the rationale for different therapeutic modalities and be familiar with the administration of “essential drugs” and their common side effects. MBBS Course Fees for Indian Nationals Academic & Other Fees Amount in Rs. Hostel & Other Fees Amount in Rs. Registration Fee 25.00 Hostel Rent 990.00 Caution Money 100.00 Gymkhana Fee 220.00 Tuition Fee 1350.00 Pot Fund 1320.00 Laboratory Fee 90.00 Electricity Charges 198.00 Student Union Fee 63.00 Mess Security (Refundable) 500.00 Hostel Security (Refundable) 1000.00 Total 1628.00 Total 4228.00 Course Fees for Foreign Nationals Tuition fees of US $ 75,000/- (divided in 3 equal installments for pre-clinical phase, para clinical phase and clinical phase of MBBS course) will be charged from the foreign national students admitted to MBBS course at AIIMS. Duration OF Course Duration of this course is 5½ years i.e. 4½+ 1 year compulsory internship. The internship is not allowed to the outsider at the AIIMS. The MBBS course is divided into three phases and semesters as under: 1. Pre-clinical (one year August to July) Phase-I - Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology 2. Para Clinical (1 ½ years- July to Dec, Jan to June, July to Dec) Phase-II - Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Pharmacology 3. Clinical (2 years+ Jan to June, July to Dec, Jan to June and July to Dec.) Phase-III – Medicine including Psychiatry and Dermatology, Surgery including Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Casualty and Dental Surgery, Paediatics, Obst. & Gynae and Community Medicine. Internship - One year =Jan to Dec (Batches to be made by Academic Section) Specialty - Duration Medicine - 1 ½ months Surgery - 1 ½ months Rural - 3 months Paediatrics - 1 month Obst. & Gynae. - 1 month Casualty - 1 month Anaesthesiology - 15 days Ophthalmology - 15 days Elective - 2 months Total 12 months Stipend The interns are entitled for stipend of Rs. 8900/- per month or more as per orders of the Government of India from time to time. |
