I am doing the UG course through distance education from the Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education and as my exam is near so I want to know the Exam Venue Details of it so please give me complete details about the exam centers of it?

Annamalai University is a public state university located in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India.

Below I am providing you the Annamalai University Venue Details:

Counselling rules:

Counselling call letter can be downloaded from annamalaiuniversity.ac.in. No individual call letter will be sent.

Individual intimation by way of SMS is also sent to the mobile number given by the candidates in their application.

Allotment of seats depends on the rank and availability of seats.

Candidates, can attend the counselling as per the date and time and cut-off mark mentioned in the schedule.

It shall be the responsibility of the candidates who got revised marks in RV / RT [Re-Valuation / Re-Totalling] to attend the counselling as per their revised mark mentioned in the schedule.

Admission will be based on merit, following the Rule of Reservation.

Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM, MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST following the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Counselling fee Rs.500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST Candidates)(non refundable) has to be paid by the candidates, by Cash or DD (in favour of 'The Registrar, Annamalai University' from any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank payable at Chennai) at the time of Counselling.

Candidate should bring the originals and 2 sets of photocopy of the following Certificates /
Documents while attending counselling.
1. 10th Mark sheet
2. HSC / Equivalent Mark sheet
3. Transfer Certificate
4. Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM
5. Nativity Certificate (if applicable)
6. Income Certificate (if applicable)
7. Recent Passport Size Photographs (3 Numbers)
8. First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)

The Overall Rank and Community Rank are provisional subject to production/confirmation of relevant records including Community Certificate, Higher Secondary Mark Sheet, Nativity Certificate (if applicable) etc.

Downloading counselling call letter or attending counselling does not guarantee Admission to Programmes. Admission depends on rank and availability of seats and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Candidates are advised to see the Prospectus for Fee structure and other details.

Candidates are informed to read the instructions given in the Counselling call letter and prospectus carefully.

Candidates are advised to be present in the Counselling session, one hour before the scheduled time, with their original certificates for verification.

University reserves the right to admission, subject to eligibility criteria and norms.

Candidates shall only opt for the vacancies available at their turn.
